Are you looking for a faryali dish for navratri. This dish is for you. Many of you listen about this sabudana ki khichadi but many times it turns sticky, that is why today I had bought a non-sticky and tasty sabudana ki khichadi. It is very easy to make and it is a very famous street food in India.

Ingredients:-

  • 180g sabudana
  • Water
  • Oil
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 medium potato
  • 2 tbsp raw peanuts
  • 2 green chili chopped
  • 6 curry leaves
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Lemon juice
  • Coriander leaves

Procedure:-

  • Rinse sabudana under water again and again until the water turns clear.
  • Transfer the sabudana to a large bowl and add 1 cup water to it
  • Leave it for 7-8 hours
  • When sabudana soaked up, drain the water.
  • Put some hot water in it and mix well with hand, again drain the water
  • While pressing a single sabudana with fingers it would smash easily, this is the sign that the sabudana is soaked perfectly
  • Heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Add cumin seeds when the oil is hot and let them sizzle for few seconds
  • Then add chopped potatoes and cook it for 3-4 minutes
  • Add raw peanuts and cook it for 3-4 minutes

  • Add sabudana to the pan
  • Add some salt and sugar (according to your taste).
  • Cook it for few minutes, donot overcook it otherwise it become sticky
  • Remove pan from the stove.
  • Add coriander and lemon juice and mix it well.
  • Now your non-sticky sabudana ki khichadi is ready.
