How to get eSIM for your physical sim - AIRTEL

Well I had a difficult time activating eSIM on my iPad when I wanted to migrate from physical SIM to eSIM. 

Instructions provided on https://www.airtel.in/esim have to be little modified as some of the steps are not very correct.

Step 1. 

You have to send a SMS to 121 in the format eSIM <email attached with your account>

e.g. eSIM ji******@gmail.com

Step 2.

You'll have to confirm the eSIM activation by replying to message you'll receive from step 1

Step 3.

You'll get a verification call, to confirm whether you really want to activate eSIM, just confirm it by pressing the appropriate key

Step 4.

You'll receive an email with QR Code for eSIM. Go to Mobile Data in your iPad settings, and click on Add a New Plan, scan the QR code by selecting Other options, next click on add new data plan.

Boom, you are done, it'll take some time to activate the eSIM.
